As a freshman on a team that won 20 games for the first time at South Brunswick High School in nearly four decades, Jacob Ciccone deserved to be pitching at the varsity level last season. Ciccone throws a four-seam fastball with movement, curveball that glides across the plate, two-seam fastball and changeup that is beginning to rival that of some of the conference’s other top southpaws – including Rutgers University signees Eric Heatter (Monroe) and Harry Rutkowski (Woodbridge) – because of the unchanged arm action in his delivery.
